Booking Through Thursday: Favorites 2012

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme hosted at Booking Through Thursday.
A deceptively easy question for this week (easy to ask but possibly hard to answer): What are/were your favorite book(s) of the year? (Bonus points if you know how many books you read.)

T_T I have to play favorites now? Oh wells... funny, since I'm making a Year in Review list soon. (Wonder how long that'll take, lol) Um, let's see...
Nah... I'll give you guys my list on Monday (Though it's gonna be pretty shabby, seeing as the fact I started blogging in November). Not planning to spill the precious beans here today. ;) But oy, all I can say is, one of the books is Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I ended up reading Vampire Academy (and I mean almost all of it) in one school day when I couldn't go on a field trip due to allergies with the rest of moi classmates. :p
As for le bonus question, I probably read at least 30-40, more or less. (Definitely more than 15 though!) I guess that's not a lot, considering if you look at other bookworms' amount of books read. Not that I'm jelly of you guys. I like keeping it balanced so I don't have an avalanche ready to tumble down on me... like my to-read list. :)
Though I used to read at least 150... but I got scolded.
Fun much? No way on the lecture. Just no way. >_<

~Happy Thursday!
