Blog Tour: Soul Bender - Top Ten

Title: Soul Bender (A Touched Girl #2)
Author: Robyn Jones
Link: Goodreads

How much can a soul take before it breaks?
Anna Pierce has a vampire boyfriend, a driver's license, real friends for the first time since she was five, and now she faces one of her biggest challenges, senior year at a mostly all girls Catholic high school. Sure, she's a member of the talking crowd now, but she'll never be like everyone else. How can she when the first of her kind has camped out in her dreams?
Little dead girl Emily decides Anna's destiny can wait no longer. It's time for this generation's Touched girl to hunt. Trained in a virtual dream landscape to destroy all in her path, Anna must choose between her destiny, the one beat into her on a nightly basis, and her legacy, the one instilled in her by her parents.
Along the way, old enemies remain dutifully obsessed, new foes lurk in the shadows, and odd Little Duckie Anna Pierce sets out to be social.
 Top 10 Quirks
by Robyn Jones

10. I don't feel pain or fear in an emergency. I float. Even being sliced head to toe skittered past my pain receptors.
9. The smell of sesame seed oil makes me so sick to my stomach I get dizzy.
8. I hugged stuffed animals at bedtime until I had a roommate in college.
7. I kept all of my favorite childhood books.
6. I used to LOVE playing Barbies.
5. I went through a black coffee phase when I was eight.
4. I went through a beer phase when I was eight too.
3. I routinely walk through the book section at my grocery store, usually on the lookout for new names, but when I find a misplaced book, or a book whose cover is bent, I have to fix it.
2. I have to save the best bite for last, meaning I orchestrate the previous bites so I have the perfect balance at the end....the last two make me sound compulsive.
1. I love my TV shows, but if they go off track, I'll quit them so fast!

Author Bio:

I'm the mom of two hardcore boys. My oldest trained me to be matter-of-fact, no frills. My youngest wants the whole singsongy sweet package. Thank goodness for reading and writing because they are my sanity makers. I know life is all about the journey, that's why I like my fiction to be all about the destination. I want to be taken somewhere not here when I read, same goes with the stories I create. Thrills, chills, tears, and laughter, but there has to be something to hold on to at the end.

  1. Thank you so much for being part of the Soul Bender tour. I remember going to Goodreads with no blog followers and you being my first one.

    1. No problemo! :)
I remember that as well :3
      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  2. This is so funny. I have saved my favorite books too and now Zane has them to read. The Incredible Journey, Romana Quimby, The Indian in the Cupboard. He loves the last one the best. I also save the best bite for last and also had a coffee phase at age 8. I can't believe the pain thing though. I know when I'm in extreme pain that adrenaline kicks in - like broken bones and such but I have a kidney infection right now and am such a weenie cause IT HURTS! Thank you so much for participating in the tour :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven

    1. I never got the chance to save my books, much less buy any. :( I never had a coffee phase though... the first time I took a sip, I practically gagged. O-o I also save the best bites for last (:D) and even the tiniest pain makes me scream... though that's not the case anymore. No problemo, and thanks for stopping by! :)

  3. Lol, the black coffee and beer phase at 8. "I have to save the best bite for last, meaning I orchestrate the previous bites so I have the perfect balance at the end" - I like doing that too when I really like something and the rest of the food just wasn't great.
I did that when I went to Barnes and Noble last time, I picked up a book and had to go put it where it belonged.

    1. Lol, the books being all over the place is also my case as well, but only if I actually spilled it on the ground in the first place myself. Or it's nearby.
And I agree, when the rest of the food isn't good, save the best for last! ;)
      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  4. i remember when barbies were the best things ever when i was a kid. i think i had a collection as well...

    1. I remember those as well. Apparently the movies I still have, but not the dolls. Those got tossed after we moved. O_o

    2. aww. well, at least you have the movies! :-)

    3. Touche. Apparently I only had one. :p
