The Sunday Post ~ 30

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer - It's a chance to share news - A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Thanksgiving Break. One of the best things EVER invented.
Okay, it's not because I have a lot of people to thank, though that may be the case (then again, my family doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving). It's because I can finally catch up on reading since I've been falling behind for the last couple of weeks.
Required reads does that to you. O_o
Oh, and Finals month (boo...)! In other words, this week is the LAST week to send in any review requests. Other requests, including advanced review requests (have to be after December though), are still welcome (no, advanced doesn't exactly mean ARCs). :3
So, what's up? I've hopped on the teeny bandwagon of about 10+ (number 9!) on the hold list for The Fiery Heart, per "order" of L. Thanks for the offer to borrow your copy after you're done, but I need to catch up on reading, as mentioned earlier.
For once, I'm glad I have to wait at the maximum of 27 weeks (I'm pretty sure most people would opt for maximum of 21 days of check out...) to be able to check it out myself. Well, if the library decides to get 2 ebook copies... then about 14 weeks. ._.
I think I can handle that if it so happens.
But Thanksgiving is the break I need. I hope I'm not the only one.
Oh, and one last thing. How was Catching Fire? Fangirl and spoil the details if you want to; I probably won't be very surprised if it's in the book. ;)

    1. Books to Movies are unfortunately unsatisfiable. *sigh...*

  3. I'm from the UK so no time off for me, which is a real shame as I could really use some right now! Catching Fire was actually incredible, and for someone who was disappointed by The Hunger Games(which is a pretty great movie) that's saying a lot. They missed bits out but tried to stick to the book a lot more, they did a great job. I hope you love it! My Sunday Post.

    1. The Hunger Games was pretty book. Unfortunately, in the book to movie world, it's always weirded out a little. O_o
I might see it in 5 years! JK. I hope not.
