What Should I Read Next? ~ 1

I just recently finished Allegiant by Veronica Roth (review December 26) and Darkness Rising by Emma L. Adams (review December 10) and would like you guys to decide what I should read next (aside from review requests that is). I sort of have a few suggestions available, but if you have any other recommendations, feel free to give your thoughts.
A few books I'm currently considering:
  • City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
  • The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau
  • Reached by Ally Condie
  • Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout
  • Whispers at Moonrise by C.C. Hunter
  • The Void of Mist and Thunder by James Dashner
  • Blood-Kissed Sky by J.A. London
  • Echo by Alyson Noel
  • Lullaby by Amanda Hocking
  • The Fiend and the Forge by Henry H. Neff
I'll admit that I'm trying to finish up series I've started in the past, but here are a few others I'm suggesting, and these are the ones that are already in my library and I'm hoping to clean out my Kindle by at least one more book:
  • Disconnect by Imran Siddiq
  • Fangirl by Angel Lawson
  • The Guardian of Threshold by A.A. Volts
  • Lichgates by S.M. Boyce
  • The Moon Dwellers by David Estes
  • On Thin Ice by P.J. Sharon
  • Prince of Wolves by Quinn Loftis
  • Quintspinner by Dianne Greenlay
  • Riser by Becca C. Smith
  • Six Moon Summer by S.M. Reine
Like I said earlier, you are welcome to recommend any book not listed on here, just as long as it's Middle Grade, Young Adult or New Adult. ^_^
Comment to vote. :) Or you can tweet me, but it might get buried. .-. Voting closes December 3.

UPDATE: VOTING IS OFFICIALLY OVER.

~Happy December!

  1. Lichgates, for sure. I read it this summer and it's easily among the top books I've read all year.

    1. You don't mean Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, do you? Lol

  6. Sophia, I'm not qualified to vote (ha ha would kind be a conflict of interest!) but I just wanted to drop by and say thanks so much for considering my novel, QUINTSPINNER and including it on your list of possibilities. BTW I love the looks of your website here - the colors are just spectacular!! And I'm really intrigued by your list of series on the right hand side. (It appears that we have similar tastes. ) Nice to connect with you. Cheers!

    1. Thanks - x2! The second thanks for reminding me about that; I totally forgot about mentioning whether or not authors could vote! Authors definitely can, they just can't vote for their own novel, lol (that would definitely create conflict - then again, the comments/votes don't get revealed until the end). ;)

    1. Hmm... I'm not that excited for Reached since I'm not a HUGE fan of the series (just tacked it on to finish the series off lol)

  8. The Moon Dwellers of course! But I would also vote for Fangirl and Echo as well :)

    1. I hope you don't mean Fangirl by a different author? ;)

  9. I've only read a couple of things on your list: City of Bones, Reached, Onyx, and Prince of Wolves.
I would, however, recomned NOT reading Prince of Wolves or anything by Alyson Noel.
I will alwasy recommend City of Bones, and Onyx was a good book.
Reached was a very disappointing end to the Matched series, in my opinion.
And I want to read the Testing and the CC Hunter series sometime soon!
I hope that helps you narrow your list down :)

    1. Matched wasn't always my favorite book series - I'm just not the romance based type lol. I mainly chose it so I could finish off the trilogy. :3
The Testing, well, I'm hoping to read it maybe next year, and I've yet to catch up on the last 2 novels of the Shadowfalls series before the first book of the spin off comes out. :3

  10. Wizards First Rule (sword of truth series) by: Terry Goodkind

    1. Hiya! Wait... that sounds familiar... isn't it based off Legend of the Seekers TV show?

The book doesn't sound very appealing though... *cringes for judging* >_<

  11. Definitely The Moon Dwellers. Definitely.

  12. RESULTS:
1st Place - City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
2nd Place (TIED!) - Lichgates by SM Boyce and The Moon Dwellers by David Estes
3rd Place - Fangirl by Angel Lawson (I hope you guys don't mean the one by Rainbow Rowell?!?!?! The books are written by different authors and they're pretty much different genres)

VOTING IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED (says the no more new comments thingy).
