The Sunday Post ~ 47

The Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer - It's a chance to share news - A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I'm curious. What's with mentors and seriousness in literature? Then all of a sudden, they're funny later. o_o Take Four from Divergent (Is the movie as good as they say?) or Kanin from Blood of Eden...

And then there are times when I go hunt down a label, see a previous review and feel faintly embarrassed. O_O
But I did make some accomplishments during Spring Break.... and a lot of them were starting and finishing books - much more than I anticipated. I finished Hamlet by the one and only William Shaker Shaking Sphere, Fall of Venus by Daelynn Quinn, The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa, The Arrival by CM Doporto, Camelot Burning by Kathryn Rose, and Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The last 2 were done right at the beginning of break... so it counts. :p I'm finishing The Body in the Woods today, so that makes it 7 books. Actually, maybe 8 since I might finish Au Revoir European Chick... (I schedule TSP to pop out on Sunday early Saturday morning so... yep. An entire day left.)

Other Accomplishments of Randomness:
  • Submitted and scheduled 3 ARC Reviews, and 2 regular reviews
    • But then I have 2 more reviews to write possibly
  • Removed the Contact Me page and replaced it with Social Icons - aren't they awesome? :D
  • Expand/Collapse the Review Queue. I'm feeling kiddy giddy. *plays with it a little* I also rhymed.
    • That also means I have to mess with HTML offline first, compress it and then copy/paste. Fun stuff.
  • Chose the Best of 2014: January-March books. Just because most probably won't make it into the 2014 Year in Review, and I actually read a lot. O_O (Yes, I'm doing quarterly ones. Yes, you can steal the idea... as long as you don't say it's yours. Or I'll send a bunch of Pucks your way. And I might not mean the fairy.)
Random Thought: If I actually came back 3 Sundays earlier, Kimba and I would be in sync. Well... halfway. (50 and 100) o_o
