The Sunday Post ~ 59

The Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer - It's a chance to share news - A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday! If you're reading this, it means I've crawled out of my little cubby hole for the week to spend time with the intramanet. Okay, this was done Thursday. But... I've still crawled out to LINK my Sunday Post, so that's something. At this time I've finish my essay for Zeitoun, along with the book, and have finished The Great Gatsby. Confusing read, that one.

I officially have a little owl. It might be a mascot, but it's an owl, and I love them. So as soon as I saw this was available, I had to buy it... no matter how much this made me look like a little kid. One of my coworkers teased that I literally laid claim on the owl like, "MINE." Technically I did. And I nearly slipped in the process. Which basically proves that regardless of the fact slip-resistant shoes say "slip-resistant" they're not necessarily slip-resistant.

I have no clue what to name little owling. Lately I've called it Little Owling and that's about it. I was thinking Ria, but I'm not too sure, so if anyone has any ideas... suggest away. (I've edited the pic to exclude my face.)

I'm also still looking for a co-blogger here at Bookwyrming Thoughts. The deadline's been changed until I find someone who's a perfect fit. Although I should address a question or two I've been commonly getting...

No, not having a Twitter doesn't disqualify you automatically. It'll be harder to get a hold of me - Kindles are terrible with Outlook, but awesome with Twitter, so I only use Twitter on the browser - but it's not a must need or you're toast.

No, you do not technically "need" experience. It's highly recommended, but if you don't have any... I'll come up with something.

Interested? Check out the requirements HERE and send moi an email. I may sound like I bite, but in reality I don't. Unless you do something terrible. Like plagiarizing. Then yes... I do turn into a shark and start biting heads. Not literally.

That said, I'm going back to my little cubby hole, catching up on review requests (I've started to fall behind schedule again) and writing my essay. Then editing and finalizing. In the meantime, we're a little over halfway through the Summer Reading Challenge - it's not too late to get some entries into the raffle HERE.
