How many times can you lose the person you love?

Katherine and Matthew are destined to be born again and again, century after century. Each time, their presence changes history for the better, and each time, they fall hopelessly in love, only to be tragically separated.

Spanning the Crimean War, the Siege of Carlisle and the near-future of 2019 and 2039 they find themselves sacrificing their lives to save the world. But why do they keep coming back?

What else must they achieve before they can be left to live and love in peace?

Maybe the next together will be different...

A powerful and epic debut novel for teenagers about time-travel, fate and the timelessness of first love. The Next Together is told through a mixture of regular prose, diary entries, letters, "original" historical documents, news reports and internet articles.

Lupe's Review

Let me just say that I have never read anything like this and I want more! Although it did take me quite a while to get used to the format of the way it was written but that did not stop me from enjoying it.

This book is filled with notes, emails, articles, diary entries from different times and it felt like I was reading multiple stories in one book that all come together in a way that's very beautiful. The main characters, Katherine Finchley and Matthew Galloway, both intrigued me from the very beginning especially the prologue which completely sucked me into the story.

This book has multiple genres that can really catch the attention of many readers out there!
Do you like romance?
-Go read this book!
Do you like historical fiction?
-This has TONS!
Do you like science as much as Katherine and Matthew does?
-The Next Together is certainly a good book to read!
Do you enjoy mysteries?
-Go put this on your Never Ending pile of to-read books!
Do you enjoy humor as much as I do?
-Well, let me tell you that Katherine has a GREAT sense of humor! She made me laugh throughout the entire time reading this book!

Overall, this book was very interesting from the start and it totally made me wonder the entire time how it all started and how it will all end. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and I couldn't ask for anything more! To be honest, this is probably a book I would love to re-read again in the near future. So what are you waiting for? Go pick it up and read it! You won't be disappointed! I promise!
