Fangirl Friday: The 5th Wave Movie Trailer

Hola! We are going to start off a feature on this blog called "Fangirl Friday" in which I will basically "fangirl" about any books, book to movie adaptions or just anything book related that's worth the time for me to talk about.

Don' t you worry. It'll be great!

Let's begin with The 5th Wave movie trailer! *Cue the clapping*
First of all, I seriously DID NOT KNOW that it was released until Sophia told me about it a few days ago. It's really sad considering that The 5th Wave is one of my favorite books (not Sophia's apparently *Sigh*).

The 5th Wave is basically about how each wave attacks the earth in order to wipe out human extinction while Cassie Sullivan, the star of the show, is on the run trying to find her younger brother. If you want to know more then I highly, and I do mean HIGHLY, suggest you go read the book! You will not be disappointed!

I honestly really love the CGI! It looks like the movie will be a very high quality movie unlike the other book to movie adaptions which were, sadly, cheaply made. If you know what I mean. I am a huge fan of Chloƫ Grace Moretz (She was GREAT in CARRIE and in IF I STAY). So I have no doubt that she will do a good job portraying Cassie.
Confession: I saw the trailer without the voice over because I didn't plug in my headphones on the headphone jack on my phone correctly (I know, Way to go Lupe) but I really loved the trailer though!

After I have realized that it wasn't put in correctly, I watched it a second time with the voice over and to be honest..... I didn't really like it as much as I thought. I like the sound effects and just the way they showed those FANTASTIC scenes for each wave without the voice over because it was more suspenseful and it made me really excited to see how each wave looked like without the extra explanation. That scene with the bridge though. AMAZING!
Overall, I just hope they make a "slightly" better trailer to be shown to the world in order to convince more people to go and see it because many people are iffy about book to movie adaptions. I don't blame them; there are some pretty bad book to movie adaptions that really give the "YA" book to movie adaptions a bad rep.

Either way, I'm going to go see it on January 15th of 2016 and I'm very excited! I just don't want the movie to be a huge disappointment. Technology is getting so advanced so I expect this movie to be EPIC! Who's with me?

Make sure to watch the trailer here and leave your thoughts below on what YOU think of it!
