Fangirl Friday: Super Bowl Commercials, Titanic 2, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Hello there!

We just had another busy week considering we had a ton of new stuff thrown at us this week especially with the Super Bowl on Sunday. Let's start off with what I thought about the Super Bowl.

I mean, of course I watched it. Well, technically, I didn't, because I only watched it for the halftime show and for the commercials. I am one of those people who doesn't understand anything about football. I'm more of a soccer fan. *Wink wink*

I really liked the halftime show with Coldplay, Queen B (Beyonce), and Bruno Mars. Sure, it was a simple halftime show but what really caught my attention was the fact that they showed a lot of flashbacks from previous halftime performances. It was really neat and totally made sense for this year's Super Bowl.

Is it just me or was the commercials getting stranger and weirder every year? I mean watch this commercial that everyone is talking about!
I love Mountain Dew but man, this commercial made me very uncomfortable. It just didn't make any sense. Other than that, good for you Mountain Dew for attracting attention.

My favorite ones were the t-mobile commercial with Steve Harvey (This cracked me up!), and the Hyundai commercial with Kevin Hart.

Overall, congrats to the Broncos for winning this year's Super Bowl! WOOT WOOT!
Apparently, the Titanic II release will be pushed back until 2018.
First of all, I thought this was just a rumor but it turns out that I was wrong and that they are building a replica from the first original Titanic. Please don't hate me, but I have never seen the movie Titanic (neither has Sophia). I don't have the time or the patience to watch the movie at this point in my life.

This version will be 'unsinkable', wider, and will travel from China to Dubai. Also, this ship will have more lifeboats. Not gonna lie, but this doesn't convince me that this boat will be safer than the first one.

A new Harry Potter book?

Title: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Harry Potter #8)
Author: J.K Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany
Release date: July 31, 2016

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a new play by Jack Thorne, is the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. It will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on 30th July 2016

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes darkness comes from unexpected places.

This is fascinating even if I have never read any of the books or finished watching the movies (Please don't hate me). I am excited for everyone to get to read another Harry Potter book and I just hope everyone will be satisfied with this book considering how much hate authors get now a days when they want to continue writing about the series after it had ended.

Until next time!
