Fangirl Friday: Doctor Strange, Avatar Sequels + More!

This week has gone by very fast and I do mean very fast! The fact that I am one day closer to graduating High School makes me so happy because I will have more time to sit down, relax and, most importantly, read. I haven't read in a while and that's very sad. I blame school for cramming so much information during this time of year. *Sigh* Oh well, at least I have some things to look forward to such as the new Marvel movie Doctor Strange!
Guys, watch the trailer with me here and we'll watch it and 'fangirl' together. Shall we?

I am so excited to see Benedict Cumberbatch in the Marvel industry alongside with Rachel McAdams and Tilda Swinton whom I have recognized seeing her from the first Narnia movie! The movie looks like it's going to have a more powerful storyline compared to The Avengers movies. I'm glad Marvel is going through this time where they are bringing their comics to life and and for us fans having the experience to get to see these fantastic comics on the big screen. Doctor Strange is going to be released in theaters on November 4th of 2016 (according to the IMDB site).

Summary: "After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant and conceited surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil." (Credited to IMDB)

Along with the movie topic, I heard a little birdie say that Mr. James Cameron confirmed that he will make 4 more sequels to the biggest blockbuster movie of all time, Avatar (2009). He plans to release the first sequel on Christmas of 2018, and the last three on 2020, 2022, and 2023.

Well, I don't know about you guys but I am pleasantly surprised by the fact he wants to create more content about this world in Pandora. I enjoyed the film when it first came out but now that I look back at it... I don't think it was that big of a deal. I mean during that time, yes it was a big deal because of the 3D thing going on and how it was a big break through in the cinematic industry and the CGI made everyone amazed. I am hoping that this "Saga of his" is as great and magical like James Cameron says it will be. I'm sure it will be better than the first one but I'm also sure there will be other films that will certainly compete with his movies in the near future. I will go see it just to see how awesome the film actually will be. But that will be in like two years from now so all we have to do now is wait.
