Fangirl Friday: Christina Grimmie and the Orlando Shooting

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good week and I hope everything is going well especially with all the bad things that are going on in this world. It seems like hate is winning and taking over as time goes on but gosh darn.

Last week on Friday night, Christina Grimmie gave her last show and was shot at her meet and greet right after the show. She died that night because of that one messed up person. My God, I grew up watching her sing beautiful covers of my favorite music on Youtube and watched her strive for success on The Voice. I loved her singing and loved every song she put out there. She had a big BIG heart and it just breaks my heart that she is not here with us right now. She only put positive stuff out there in the world. Christina was SO YOUNG. She had her entire life still ahead of her. She was taken way too soon.

She did not deserve this.

First, Chrisitna Grimmie and now the shooting at the Pulse? What is going on in this world? That messed up dude killed so many innocent people! I am just angry, sad and confused onto why some people want to hurt others. I just wish these people didn't die this way. They had so much to live for. They all had dreams. They all had family they left behind. Their family and friends are hurting. We are all hurting.

I am afraid.

I am afraid this will just encourage other sick people out there to do the same thing. I am afraid more sick people will go out there and kill more people. I don't mind if you don't agree with me, but I think that they should just ban the second amendment or make stricter gun laws. Just SOMETHING. There is NO WAY you can spy, look out for and take care of every psychopath out there.

We lost so many people. I know we lose people everyday but I hope these things that happened to these people in Orlando and with Christina encourages everyone to speak up and start accepting one other; no matter the differences. We have to stay UNITED.

I know things are going to become weird now again because everyone will start to feel unsafe at every event they go to and asking themselves What IF? What if we die today because of some sick person if we go to this festival? What if today is our last day if we go to this concert? I would not blame any artist out there who stops doing meet and greets. AT ALL.

We have to change ourselves and help change others. It doesn't matter their sexuality, nationality, religion etc. We should accept everyone for who they are. Everyone is different. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I just want you to go out there and make a change. Smile to others, give compliments, tell your friends and family that you love them etc. I know you have heard that so many times and it doesn't hurt to hear (in this case, read) it again.

I love you all, and please accept others for who they are. Remember: Everyone's life is worth more than gold.
