Fangirl Friday: Divergent Movie Crisis

Yo Yo Yo!

That was me trying to be cool but I should stop now shouldn't I?

Before you read on.... I hope you've read the Divergent trilogy because I do mention a spoiler about the ending. So read on at your own risk if you haven't read them yet.

Everything was bright and sunny until the news hit me yesterday that the final movie installment is going to skip the big screen..... it's going to be shown on TV.... possibly with a new cast...

I know. I know.

I'm really surprised as well but I have to say that Allegiant was pretty bad. The graphics were great but it honestly felt confusing at times. It was forever since I've read the last book but I even knew the movie was not the same as the book.

The first two movie were great and good in my opinion. They were even big box office hits but this latest movie really didn't do so well at all. We were expecting much better quality of a movie honestly. I just think they screwed things up by splitting the last book into two movies.

What's interesting is that they are wanting to do a spin off. Sophia made me think about how they will truly end this movie series. I even wonder if they are going to kill Tris. If not then I'm pretty sure they will receive PLENTY of backlash.

New cast?

Then might as well don't do the final movie if they aren't going to have the same cast as the first three movies. Or they should just suck it up and just release a movie in theaters like they have originally planned.

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that there might be a spin off. I mean I'm sure there are different routes they can take with this series but they should just leave this world alone. They might screw things up.

Overall, I just hope we receive some good news later on about all of this. I wonder what the original cast thinks....
