Fangirl Friday: The Incredibles 2 + Stranger Things + Giveaway

Gotta love the fact that it's Friday and labor day weekend is here! Well for the U.S, I'm not so sure about the other places in the world. It's been a hectic and VERY scorching hot week for me. Sophia can agree with me on this one. FOR ONCE!

Let's start off talking about how long we STILL have to wait for the sequel for The Incredibles. I still love that movie very much all because I love Edna Mode. She is hilarious! Well Brad Bird, didn't want to give us any information about this sequel other than it is very much underway and taking it to a new direction. I'm excited in general and hopefully we can hear more about this sequel in the near future. Until then, we'll just wait until it releases in theaters on June 21, 2019.

This show is literally sweeping over the NATION. It's everybody's (oh so it seems) favorite show at the moment or of all time. That's right. I'm ALSO hooked. Even my parents are obsessed with this show and that's saying something. Yes, I'm talking about Stranger Things over here hence the title. Season 2 has been recently confirmed and dropped some sort of teaser trailer. I guess they didn't want to show us any snips of the new season or they haven't begun filming anything at all. But I don't care! What matters is that they haven't cancelled the show yet. I mean this is becoming a bigger phenomenon than Orange is the New Black! Let's hope Season 2 is just as awesome as the first season.

More books have been released on August 30!

Title: Just Kill Me
Author: Adam Selzer
Synopsis: Megan Henske isn’t one to heed warnings…

When the last letters in her alphabet cereal are D, I, and E, she doesn’t crawl right back into bed. When her online girlfriend won’t text a photo, she just sends more of herself.

And when she realizes that Cynthia, her boss at a Chicago ghost tour company, isn’t joking about making stops more haunted by killing people there, she doesn’t quit her job—she may even help.

But who is responsible for the deaths of prominent figures in the murdermonger industry? Could it be the head of the rival tour company? Or could it be someone near and dear to Megan?

Soon after she learns that she has an uncanny resemblance to a flapper who disappeared in 1922, Megan receives a warning she can’t ignore: the next ghost on the tour might be her…

Title: Girl in Pieces
Author: Kathleen Glasgow
Synopsis: Charlotte Davis is in pieces. At seventeen she’s already lost more than most people lose in a lifetime. But she’s learned how to forget. The broken glass washes away the sorrow until there is nothing but calm. You don’t have to think about your father and the river. Your best friend, who is gone forever. Or your mother, who has nothing left to give you.

Every new scar hardens Charlie’s heart just a little more, yet it still hurts so much. It hurts enough to not care anymore, which is sometimes what has to happen before you can find your way back from the edge.

A deeply moving portrait of a teenage girl on the verge of losing herself and the journey she must take to survive in her own skin, Kathleen Glasgow’s debut is heartbreakingly real and unflinchingly honest. It’s a story you won’t be able to look away from.

Title: The Call
Synopsis: Imagine a world where you might disappear any minute, only to find yourself alone in a grey sickly land, with more horrors in it than you would ever wish to know about. And then you hear a horn and you know that whoever lives in this hell has got your scent and the hunt has already begun.

Could you survive the Call?
