Fangirl Friday: Stay Bookish Zine release + More!

Time to get back to the swing of things since my spring break is over. If you are on spring break right now, then you are very lucky. Enjoy the weekend before you go back to school. I just wanted to start off with some good news for Stay Bookish Zine!

Congratulations for releasing your first YA Digital Magazine issue on March 20th! If you haven't checked it out yet, then click here to read it! It's phenomenal and it's such a great idea to develop a digital magazine for every Bookwyrm (Haha get what I did there?) to enjoy. EEEK You could also see that my friend Sophia is in it! I can't wait to read the upcoming issues!

Plus, they're hosting their first ever chat tomorrow on Twitter at 8pm EST (that's 7pm CST and 5pm PST)! Be sure to follow @staybookishzine on Twitter and use #SBZChat to follow along!

Another book will be developed into a TV Show!

AwesomenessTV will be making Zac and Mia a TV Show on GO90 this year! The series will star Kian Lawley and Anne Winters. Stay on the look out!

Title: Zac and Mia
Author: A.J. Betts
Synopsis: When I was little I believed in Jesus and Santa, spontaneous combustion, and the Loch Ness monster. Now I believe in science, statistics, and antibiotics.

So says seventeen-year-old Zac Meier during a long, grueling leukemia treatment in Perth, Australia. A loud blast of Lady Gaga alerts him to the presence of Mia, the angry, not-at-all-stoic cancer patient in the room next door. Once released, the two near-strangers can’t forget each other, even as they desperately try to resume normal lives. The story of their mysterious connection drives this unflinchingly tough, tender novel told in two voices.

Emma Roberts created an online book club and you could join too on belletrist.com! She is great and loves to read like rest of us. I'm glad someone in Hollywood enjoys reading for fun!

It's trailer/teaser time!

Captain Underpants

Death Note (I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS. Watch it first then I'll sort of explain.)

FIRST OF ALL, Netflix, what happened? I get this is based off of the anime. but couldn't they just not 'americanize' it too much? Light Turner? umm it's LIGHT YAGAMI! I just see so many things that is not cool compared to the amazing and my top favorite anime of all time. I also don't want to say too much, because I'll offend someone. Let's be honest, the only good thing about this is Willem Dafoe as Ryuk. I will still see this no matter what and I'll certainly tell you my thoughts about it in August. This movie better be good Netflix.
