Blue Bottle Tree by Beaird Glover | Cover Reveal

Happy Tuesday book dragons (I'm still trying to figure this greeting out four years and then some later)!

I am briefly popping out of my study and project cave (more like project cave with the occasional procrastination because there are posts to schedule and reviews to write and deadlines to meet) to present to you the pretty and creepy cover of Beaird Glover's Blue Bottle Tree! (And if you missed the really pretty cover to Jadie Jones's Wildwood a few weeks ago, make sure to check that out too!)

Here's a peek at the synopsis:
There’s no such thing as Voodoo. At least, that’s what most of the Baptists in Bellin tell themselves. But Seven LaVey knows better.

In a small rural town just outside of Nashville, Voodoo conjures and curses simmer and seethe under the noses of the many who will never know. Seventeen-year-old Seven romanticizes about the meaning of life while held captive as a zombie under the shell of a kiddie pool. He's counting on the strength - and maybe even love - of a certain redheaded clarinet player to save him. But will she?

Filled with betrayal and revenge, two families struggle with a curse that stretches back to Queen of the Voodoos Marie Laveau in this contemporary Southern Gothic adventure. Prepare for a wildly original twist on the paranormal.
Lately I make everyone wait a second or two with stalling, but since I poked my head out of the study cave for a few moments to write this post...

Okay, that's creepy. That face is creepy. Welp. (And fog is naturally creepy...)

Blue Bottle Tree is coming October 24 from The Parliament Press! If you're interested in paranormal romance, dark fantasy, voodoo, or gothic set in the south, be sure to check Blue Bottle Tree out and add it to your shelves on Goodreads!
