Fernanda @ The Wanderlust Reader | Novel Newcomers

Hellooo bookwyrms!

It's Monday! Time for an entire week ahead with no procrastination whatsoever.

Well, actually, there will be some procrastination. There is always some form of procrastination involved (really it's real life plus that). 😅

Anyways, back to Novel Newcomers. This week's featured blogger is Fernanda from The Wanderlust Reader. We're chatting about summer because summer is right around the corner. Literally.

It feels like it's already summer. 😒

Outside of blogging and reading, what other interests do you have?
Oh I see, you’re pulling out the big guns right away. Um, I’ve always loved music because it is another way for me to escape the reality and with that comes singing. I joined chorus during my sophomore year of high school and I fell in love with it instantly. Although I’m no longer in high school, I continue to sing around the house when no one is present because it’s too embarrassing. I’ve also been interested in volleyball since a young age and I think it was mainly do to the fact that my mom played professionally for several years.

What is your most unusual accomplishment?
Ooo I have a good one. Maybe but probably not. In my French class, we were given superlatives and mine was “le sauveteur du monde francophone” (the rescuer of the French speaking world). For some odd reason I’m really proud that my teacher thought so highly of me.

What is your favorite food?
French fries hands down.

What are some of your favorite books to read in the summer?
I typically read fantasy 24/7 but I’m more inclined to read contemporary during the summer. Some of my favorite summer reads are To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han and If I Stay by Gayle Forman.

If you could travel abroad for one summer, name five places you would love to visit.
I’ve always wanted to travel to India and Belgium so those are probably my top two choices but I’d also love to revisit Spain, Austria, or Fiji because they were absolutely breathtaking.

Name five bloggers you would love to travel the world with. (Can be from Novel Newcomers, does not have to be.
