Fangirl Friday: The Lion King Remake + More

Hey guys! Hope you had a marvelous Halloween and ready to look forward to thanksgiving, because I already am.

Gosh, I can't even explain how much I love Disney's The Lion King and they finally released the cast for the live action movie coming in summer 2019! Check it out below and can I say, I'm LIVING for this marvelous cast!

Here's a blurb about the upcoming movie!
"From Disney Live Action, director Jon Favreau’s all-new “The Lion King” journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, BeyoncĂ© Knowles-Carter as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Billy Eichner as Timon and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa. Utilizing pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way, “The Lion King” roars into theaters on July 19, 2019.”

Becky Arbertalli's YA novel Simon VS. The Homo Sapiens Agenda will be coming to the big screen! The movie title will be Love, Simon and will be released on March,16 2018. Here's a blurb according to the IMDB website.
"Everyone deserves a great love story. But for Simon it's complicated: no-one knows he's gay and he doesn't know who the anonymous classmate is that he's fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, scary and life-changing."

I'm glad we are finally getting to see some more LGBTQ content! It's about time!

Just a reminder to go on Goodreads and vote in the annual Goodreads Choice Awards 2017!

Lastly, I just want to congratulate the Astros for winning their first World Series championship in franchise history!
